are the Canadian DB Drag rules diffrent then the American ones cuz I just got home from a competition and my friend got bumped to super street cuz he was running a 15 inch sub.. the guy said that only in the states are you aloud to use a 15 in street..
one guy also had a DD 9515 in a CRX and his box was about 6 inches higher then the bottom of the window and they didnt move him up in class.. he got to stay in the no wall class..
so my friend who got 4th..
if that other guy would have been bumped up he would have gotten 3rd and if he would have been aloud to run in street he would have gotten 1st..
one mic was also way higher then the other.. he lost 3 db from one mic to the other..

the best part is half the cars there were hitting over 150 db.. some even hit over 160 db when last year they were low 150s..

yup.. Visions show..
the guy built his car according to this years rules so he could compete in street 1-2.. oh well it was only $15..
the winner of street 1-2 had 3 U-Dimension amps in his trunk. 2 to run his subs and I'm assuming the other one was to run his speakers. Each one of those amps is over $1500

yeah your friend got screwed. Those people obviously don't know the rules...was it even a sanctioned dbdrag show? If it was then you should e-mail Wayne and have him send them a rule book or something
