Capacitor Quality: Streetwires vs. EFX

Hi

I was wondering if EFX caps are as good as Streetwires?

I am just looking at a basic 1 Farad Cap; no fancy stuff on it.

I have heard of low quality caps dieing (basically shorting) and destroying the amplifiers.

Thanks.

If a capacitor were to ever short (and I have never seen it) it wouldn't be the amp that goes.

you are a victim of rumor and conjecture

both caps will perform the same function, and are probably made by the same manufacturer

Here's the deal... all of the caps sold for car audio came from the same factory... they have different pretty shrink wrap on them, but they're all the same inside.
