Are they all created equal?? there is a huge range in price. I was under the impression that there was only a couple of makers of caps.. Are you just paying for the name???

I think the young lad means the led display on top of some capacitors not that it runs on a binary system.

My belief is simple, if you're not willing to upgrade your electrical system, keep your system within a reasonable power range. Don't expect your stock electrical system to keep up with your 2 kw car audio system. I always budget $300-600.00 for my electrical system upgrades as part of my car audio budget...after all what's the point of having all that power if you can't use it?

Well ive always learned that a capacitor just adds a strain on your electical system.. Rather than get a cap, just make sure your electrical system is in good shape. Since the capacitor draws alot of power from your car, it can make things worse. It will only help on the big guys when it discharges.
