Well I waas lookin at the RF 10 farad hybrid. $100 so its real cheap. And with batteries whats my best bet?

capacitors are not useless and adding extra batteries to your car is not always a good solution. and yes the difference is simply more power storage. Also im pretty sure normally you want atleast 1 Farad for every 1000 watts.

wait doesnt cap, actually reduce voltage as well? since some can only charge at 12volts... just saying so their a voltage drop.... once it hit the cap!

so how much power does a 1 farad cap provide?

the 1 farad per 1000 watts is sales hype to sell caps

caps maintain voltage and store charge, they provide moments of charge (i hesitate to call it 'Power') and will look to replenish themselves when system voltage increases over their voltage
they do not make nor consume power

I heard putting in an extra(kinetik) battery and not upgrading the alternator creates too much "strain" on the stock alt....eventually leading to alt failure...is this bullsh!t?
