car audio capacitor waterproof?

so i figure this is the place to ask...i want to install an hid setup in my truck that has the automatic headlight feature. to help the hids survive the voltage drop that occurs when the engine is started while the headlights are on, i want to install a car audio capacitor under the hood connected to the relay harness. now things dont stay dry under there especially in a truck so im wondering are all capacitors waterproof or do i need a marine one ( i could also fab an enclosure for a regular one)?
