car audio schools?

I saw an ad in the current issue of CA&E for another school. Called Audio Institute or something like that. They offer 1-2 week courses on things such as Fabrication-only and what seems to be more specialized, perhaps more advanced courses than MD does. They did a demo truck that was featured a little while back in CA&E. If someone doesn't know the link I will try to get it tonight. I don't think this is the same one but it's another to check out:
http://www.installerinstitute.com/curriculum.html
Another thing to try is the videos that supplies like Select Products offers. Or how about Rockford Technical Training Institute (RTTI)?

I am a firm believer in continued training, don't misunderstand that at all. I find that I can take at least one thing away from ANY training I attend, whether a major theory or a minor hint.
Honestly I think any installer school is most effective for someone with 2-4 years of experience: Been around long enuf to understand what is being taught and green enough to really make use of it

RTTI is for RF dealers only. Its more of a training in RF products than anything else. They do have a RTTI Top Gun class (that Tim Baillie went to) but as the name implies, only installers who are the **** and work for an RF dealer get to go. We are talking about less than 30 people from what I understand so far.

Here we go, the one I was thinking of is Acoustic Edge Institute www.stereoschool.com They offer Installation packages, Fabrication pacakages or a combo. They got a school in Houston and Oklahoma. The Houston one though uses Audiobahn in their Sound Room
