Question Car Rust Falling apart from Loud Bass

I'm not good a wording things, But I was wondering if the loud(er) bass can have short term effects on the car..

Example: Could I be driving down the highway and have my semi rusted bumper (underneath its stArting to rust) and anything else for that matter just fall off ?..

Or is it very unlikely.. cuz I'm worried now that have the system installed. I just don't know my limits with the vehicle.. Need some helps here lol.. thoughts, or anything else can could help me think that nothing will fall apart.. its a good car, but like any other old car, the underneath ain;t so good, It doesn't rattle much outside, but it does shake like crazy when I turn it up lol.. its not a big concern, but thought i'd ask lol.. ( bored at school waiting for ride @ 6 )

yes, it could fall apart anytime. get a new car.

Cars are not meant to last 16 years under normal driving conditions. My cars don't usually last 6 years, but my last cavalier z24 i pushed to almost 8 years, 368 K. Over that 8 years, i speant almost as much on maintenace as the 19,900 purchase price. It was pretty much worn out, needed more work than it was worth.

Scrap it.

Forgot to mention, back in 2005, traded in my wife's 1991 Olds sierra supreme.
I was happy with the 100 dollars he gave me for the trade-in. And i only got 100 for it because of the old pioneer and the liquidation store speakers.

Sorry, didn't mean to be so harsh. My wife wants the montecarlo. As soon as the new Camaro comes out, I'll be looking for a new stereo.....

I've given up on old cars. I spent a day in the hospital with doctors digging rust out of my eyeball hoping i'd still be able to see. That was her 91 olds, back when it was only 11 years old.

Had a civic, but unfortunatly, they just can't make a nice COMFY BIG VEHICLE.. lol.. Yea, w3 got a kia , its pretty fly, but the cutlass is my car, and i'm in college, no money to afford a new car, the olds isn't giving me problems..Yet

Thats a story .. , that would really suck.. yea, I hate old cars, but this one isn't too bad.. it all comes down to money lol...

This is what it looks like.. Exactly like it... still looking good like the pic (curtossy of G00glez)

Now that you mention 16 yrs old.. that is old haha.. I guess like you said, they just don't make cars liek they used too, back then they were made to last, now they make them for you to spend another 20,000 every couple of years ..

A few words of warning with the cutty....Check the bumper periodically. Especially the suports under the car. Mine totally sheard off and then I noticed my bumper bolts were amlmost toally loose.

And I am not sure if the 91's have this or not but the moulding on the trunk lid(around the lock) will end up loking like crap. As seen on mine. Oh and SOUND DEADEN the trunk, it does alot of good.

Those cars are mint for a stereo man, one of my buddies had a wicked system and it pounded HARD!! To be honest I don't remember what it was in there, but the car held it well! And as for rust, I remember one day with MAO sitting at the store he worked @ and a kid just installed 2 type R's into a Old colt(small hatch car) and cranked it, rust was EVERYWHERE Afterwards. It was mad funny! well worth the money he put into it!
