A&B Sound and Futureshop are not good and reputable installers, in my experience

They are lot of good installers in Future shop besides Langley.. But Langley is very good.

Future shop Broadway is very good also.

Ive seen good things from A&B in Abbotsford.

Speed of Sound in Victoria...

They have done some very nice installs for people from Vancouver as well as they are known for their laid back style and fantastic work. They do a very nice job in design and tuning as well as the install itself.

Right now they have two cars in the shop both having Alpine F-#1 systems installed, 2003 BMW M3 and totally tricked out CRX (from Van) with all Utopia speakers, fiberglass, custom horns, motorized stuff, very cool.

They are known for a nice job if you main progative is fantastic sound quality and an affordable stealth install.

thks for the tips from all of u guys..

i went to speaker city and audiolines thswkend.. quite impressed by audiolines' approach.... does anyone hv experience dealing with Boyz Club in Richmond BC? Advance in Bby?

I went to A/B sound d.t vancouver store today.. and was checking some speakers/head units... the sales guy there was v nice.. but dont think he knows the products v well.. when testing the speakers, i volunteered to use my own cd's.. i saw the way he was holding the CD and inserting it into the cd deck...... OMG... I lost all of my confidence already... He seemed unsure when i was asking him about "deadening".. and how it's done and how much it wud cost etc..

I wonder if A/B sound or future shop provides any product training to their staff??

I'll keep checking with other retailers/installers..

cheers..

w.

IMO Boyz Club does a good job and they treat you well.
Ralphs is good too, talk to Mike there.
Or you can come talk to me if you're willing to drive out.

All of the salesmen at my local A&B Sound (Nanaimo) are fairly knowledgable, one of them actually competed in the SQ events in the IASCA event up-island (I think it was Campbell River)
