I have been an avid collector for some 15-17 years now and own several immaculate old school Rockford Fosgate amplifiers. I personally have several copies (amplifiers) hanging from quality picture frames on various walls in my home. My wife thinks I'm strange but my passion and my early years with car audio left me to desire these amplifiers so much that I consider them art! My collections consists of the following; Punch 30, Punch 40, Punch 45,(3 examples) Punch 75,(5 examples) Punch 150, (4 examples) Power 650, and a Power 1000. I'm willing to pay top dollar for a Power 300 to complete my collection and will pay excellent money for a mint (as many that can come my way) Punch 150. (HD series also) I feel very strong in stating that the best power amp to this date that I have heard and felt literally was the original Punch 150. I have seen many applications where the amp was setup with 10-20 subs (ranging from 8-18 inch subs)and literally slammed them with no effort! Bottom end so deep and low that I have rarely felt or heard even today. Amplifiers of that vintage era have never been duplicated in my opinion. Comparing these amplifiers to newer amplifier designs today is like comparing high horespower cars that make power at 7,500 rpm and torque as opposed to making high horespower at much lower levels but more importantly huge amount of useable torque at low speed rpm. Torque is what ultimatley drives subwoofers and not necessarily these high horespower claims (watts) by manufacturers.

Pics would be awesome, for sure. I had a chance at a Power 300, but passed it up. Sux2bu picked it up. I still have my Punch 40 from '94, with the manual and the birthsheet (92 watts x2, not bad for a "40" watt amp). I have also owned another Punch 40, a 60, a 200ix (sold to Pusnboob from the board), a 160x4 (sold to Mao), and I have a 400x4 right now. Good stuff.
