Assuming it is 04-06 and a Hatch:

In-dash stereo
8-13/16" depth

Front speakers
Front Door : 4" factory speaker note

Rear speakers
Side Panel : 4" factory speaker note

Yeesh, I did finally find the info on the chevy website but it did not state the speaker size so thank you. Though it sucks cuz 4 inches is small! I wonder how hard it would be to get 5.25 inch speakers to fit, haha. Do you guys think it would be hard to find a bigger alternator for an aveo? It comes with a 85 amp alt and my sub amplifier alone draws probably 80 amps. So I could use some advice on that problem haha.

See about getting your alternator rewound from a Alt and starter shop! Most times they are a lil cheaper route and just as reliable

OH! I always forget about that option. Haha. Ok, another question popped into my head but I think this one probably won't get answered. For any of you that have ever worked on an aveo how hard do you think it will be for me to run 0 gauge under the carpet???

It Is as hard as any other vehicle, Since it is a newer car, its not AS bad, carpet still has some movement to it

ok, wasn't sure if it would be the other way around. I was thinking maby the new safety features make it harder to remove seats and run wires under the carpet. This process is the only part of installing car audio that I absolutely hate!

My car is a new chevy (maybe twice the size of the aveo) and it wasn't that hard to work on.
A girl at work took me for a ride in her aveo when it was new. Speaker grills look bigger than 4", but who knows whats behind the plastic.

Don't be shy, take it appart and find out. There is probably lots of room for up-sizing.
My car has over 2" between the steel door and the plastic door panel.

Bigger alternators will fit.

OH MAN! I am spyched now! Fresh new equipment to work with instead of broken panels and ripped carpet. I have not purchased the vehicle yet, BUT, it will be mine soon if the performance isn't crappy. I will miss my large rear wheel drive vehicle BUT HOLY CRUD WILL IT BE NICE TO HAVE LOW GAS BILLS!
