Actully a quite a nice amp. Puts out a touch more then the 1500wrms at 14.4 around 1580 or so. And puts out full power between 1-2ohms so its nice for mutliple wiring types. CEA2006 rated. Its a G class amp and also uses the same sort of technology on the xover as the PG xenon. Where it is indexed for perfect cross over points. Very cool and easy to use.

 

i was actually looking at this amp on your site i need to get a amp and Ive heard pretty good things about clarion amps

 

Ya they came out with them last year but didn't get them till the end of the season pretty much but now all in stock. What are you running sub wise and what coil configuration.

 

two 12" rockford hx2 dvc 2 ohm 500 wrms each

 

Yes that amp should power them without issue. You will have a bit of extra on tap over the power handling limits but im pretty sure some guys are running more power then the 500Wrms to them daily. Should be a nice match up.

 

the amp is amazing for your subs. My friend said he saw this amp in action and was impressed
