1. For you to come on here and call out the admins for banning Tim without knowing any of the facts is not exactly "classy" either.

- how can I know the facts when his post was deleted and all I have to go on is Ricks tirade and Tim's "x2"

2. A more respectful person would PM the admins and deal with their concerns in private. But I guess "class" is only a 1-way street with you. You expect it, but certainly don't display it.

- yes it is very respectful to call someone a nut hugger. Jordy, for the most part you and I have gotten along -- disagreed yes, but with a reasonable amount of respect. What names have I called you?

By the way, Tim and I have disagreed more than a couple of times -- but, over the years we have come to respect one another.

The point is, if you don't know the facts then don't comment. Do the mods really have to explain every single action taken on the board?

Did you want full access to my PM's so you can check to make sure I'm doing the right thing every day?

We're here modding the site on a *voluntary* basis. (Actually, I PAY to be here. So not only does it take my time, it takes my money as well!)

With there really only being 3-4 mods on a site this size, there is a considerable amount of time spent by each of us to make sure that trouble makers like Tim are kept in line. So forgive me if we don't feel the need to ask the users for input on every decision made.

If you don't like the choices we make then you're free to go to another site.

I'm not saying it was respectful to call you a nut hugger. It wasn't "my word" though. It was the word Rick used in reference to the Tim B fans that would come on here and whine about him being banned. You had done just as Rick predicted, so I used the term accordingly.

I think it's a bit ridiculous for you to get hung up on that point though. I find it very hard to believe that you don't use words even worse than "nut hugger" every day. This isn't a business, we aren't in a board room, so the occasional profanity can and will be used. Again, if you don't like it, feel free to leave.

You're right about one thing though. We've never had problems in the past, but when you start to call out the mod team here I get very defensive. We bust our asses to make this site run well and the last thing we need is a person constantly WMBCing about every single move we make. (refering to Tim, not you)

Why do you, or anyone else think its ok for me to have some guy trashing the site and causing trouble here. Is that how you or your family run your business ?
People can stand in your store front (or your brothers), call you a **** sucker, or a piece of and you would just tolerate it ? What if they started calling your distributors for whatever reason to bad mouth you and your shop.
Would you call all your customers to explain why you kicked someone out of your shop. Likely not. You would tell the people that need to know and that’s it.

Point is, Tim is not wanted here. That’s all you need to know. If it pains you to need to know more, call Tim.

As for Jordy. He’s earned the right to to choose who should be here and who shouldn’t. He contributes far more to this site than you do, or Tim has. As a moderator, I support Jordy, even if he calls you a nuthugger (I found it funny). If you’re concerned about how classy we were in dealing with Tim, I suggest you go read some of Tims’ posts to enthusiasts on other forums where he publicly bashes them… but that’s him, we know how he is.

As a business man, Jordy doesn’t cross any lines, does his thing and that’s it.
With all that, he manages not to be a total screw up like your buddy.

You can continue to fight the good fight for Tim, but he’s gone and there’s no where for you to go but out, so just leave it. I personally would rather have you, and would have rather had Tim as a constructive user in the forum. I did my best to meet his needs and even offered to cut him a break on advertising when he said he couldn’t afford it, he just wouldn’t leave well enough alone at times.
But Mike, its all up to you, we can keep pushing it, you can keep trying to get your last word in but you wont win. Nothing will change and I have no issues with removing you as well if it will benefit CanadianCarAudio.
