Hi Guys,

I am looking for a new head-unit and like the looks of the DEH-P80MP.

Has anyone tried this deck and experienced anything good? or bad?

Has anything used it with the XM module?

Thanks

Kevin

To be honest, Kevin, I don't really like that deck. It's cool, yeah...but when it came down to using it, it felt pretty clunky to use.

I like my 8600 much more. Definately worth the upgrade.

Speaking of that 9200... Seems like Tris is liking that deck...it had a buzz in the speakers, but it's fine now...

Thumbs up

"THUMBS UP" from me. I've had the deck in my Jeep for about 2 months now, and I really enjoy it. Very user friendly, the jog-dail is easy to use. If you play MP3's you will find it very useful scrolling through tracks with the dial - the remote is good too. Its also got a pretty decent built-in AMP 60WX4, considering most of them out there only go to 50WX4. I have the deck powering my 4 front&rear speakers, and I have a mono amp for my sub in the trunk - good control from the deck for the sub too. You can really tweak the audio just way you like; you have full adjustable control with the EQ was well. Also, cosmetically speaking, I personally think the deck "looks good" too, if you care about that.

If you have specific questions you can always PM me.

Good choice on the pioneer. They're the only deck I will use, and have always had good luck with them. I have an DEH-P960MP on the way, really like the 6.5 volt outputs, and the option for the aux input for the DVD player.
