components and sub with 4 channel amp?

Hey guys i have a 4 Channel amp, Kenwood XR-4S new one. Its 125 per channel at 4 ohms. If i run front channel on the components and the rear with a sub will i have the same tuning capabilities for the sub as running a mono amp to the sub? Will all my controls on the deck for the sub still work etc?

I have a Kenwood excelon deck. The sub i want to run is a 10" alpine type S in a sealed box. Just lil more bass for some SQ, components are ESK 165 hertz 6.5".
Specs:

• 120 Watts (RMS) x 4 @ 4ohms
• 150 Watts (RMS) x 4 @ 2 Ohms
• 300 Watts (RMS) x 2 @ 4 Ohms (Bridged)
• Dual Power Supply
• Bi-Amp Connection
• Variable High Pass Filter (High-Range): 2.5~10 kHz -12dB/oct
• Variable High Pass Filter (Low-Range): 50~200Hz -12dB/oct
• Variable Low Pass Filter (High-Range): 2.5~10 kHz -12dB/oct
• Variable Low Pass Filter (Low-Range): 50~200Hz -12dB/oct

Hooking it up like that will give you full control over your sound right from the front seat.....

Leave the crossovers on the amp set to "Thru", shut off any EQ controls and read the manual for your deck....twice.....

Merry Ho Ho....have fun with the new toys....

Or, find a 300rms amp (at whatever load you need) and run that kenwood active to your comps... looks like it could do it

Thanks a lot with the help guys, im going to go with the components and sub off the one amp.. Running two amps is just that much more work and more money to install. With the money that Im saving running one amp, I can put that towards some dynamat it in the stock doors.. Because i can already her them rattling with stock speakers.

Happy Holidays
