1) Does the sub have a vented pole piece and if so how much room have you allowed between the back of the sub and the inside of the box?
2) How much room have you allowed for infront of the sub so that the surround does not impact the back of the seat? (fixed a job like that today actually).

And I used to hate broccoli...... got past that.... the bass response is more about the box than it is the sub. Just did another of the Pioneer 10" shallow's today in a 95 F150 reg cab and it was more than ample output for that person.

I have owned and used several CSS products and they were all more than satisfactory. The Trio8 would be a great choice.

Pioneer Shallow Subs

I have 2 -12" Pioneer shallow mount sub behind my rear seats in an 2006 Ford F-350 crew cab. I have a PPI 2400 running 800Watts to them and they pound. I have played a few bass cd's and they play low. I left them in a seal box at about .85 cft as per Pioneers specs. I would buy these again in a heart beat.

Later
