Just noticed it on their website. they are already offering some products...tv, home electronics...but will be phasing in car audio etc...later this year. Should be interesting as they are an amazing company to deal with.

 

I talked with one of the reps.. and for the mobile electronics.. it's not going to be strong in it.. and the prices will be roughly the same as any others in canada.. It's just how it works.. too bad they couldn't keep their good prices..

 

It makes sense for them to enter this market since the prices they have to compete with are already so high.

 

will they ship from a canadian location or will we get hosed like always?

 

apparently they have a warehouse in mississauga that they are shipping tv's from already.

 

you might want to have a real good look around their site. some of the prices were copied over from the us site. in early december they had a 42" westinghouse for way less than anyone else, and it was priced the same on their US site.

Well there prices would be no different then any other big box store as they would have to buy at the same distributors as all the Canadian retailers and sell at the listed MSRP just like a FS or BB. The only time you will see big deals is when that product is not reps here and they bring it in themselves. SO as for the name brand car audio no real changes.

It looks like Crutchfield is finally offering car audio in Canada...hopefully we'll see some good sales coming up as I hear their an awesome company to deal with...
