I was informed that the show aired last night and I have taped it. Some of the information came from us, competitors and spectators. Some seems exaggerated and misleading. I'm not too sure how they figured out that our van is "4 times louder than a space shuttle"!?!? and how getting an extra 1db would require 10 more amps and 40 more batteries!?.... but all in all... good show coverage and I think it's a good explaination of what dbdragger's do and why we do it.

There's quite a few recognized competitors and spectators that were on the show (Cecco Bros, Perfect Tones, Fast Forward, Urban Disturbance, Cro River Sound, etc.)

I have a copy of the Discovery Channel show so if anyone wishes to view it or obtain a copy you can stop by the store and pick up yours for only 4 installments of $19.99!!... we accept cash, visa, american express and a lot of Canadian Tire Money......... just kidding...

Overall, good turn out, I appreciate everyone for coming out... I will be in touch with you all in advance and maybe next time we can review the info they will air before it goes live.

The other show you guys might be thinking of which aired about a month or so back was "Tanlines in Wasaga Beach". That was from 2 - 3 years ago on Outdoor Life Network (OLN). It's still being rerun every so often.

Thanks,

If I remember what she said, it was something like this..."The space shuttle taking off is 150dB, To make a system twice as loud you need 10 extra dB" (so at 160db, the van is 2 times louder, two times louder than 160dB is 170dB which in turn is 4 times louder acoustically than 150dB)

Thats ok, as usual its another 2 part cliffhanger. All you missed was yelling as usual, some amazing commentary, 2 bikes falling off the lifts and a heart felt moment between father and son with tears and all.
