Did anyone go 2002? How long did it take to get there? How much was the Hotel/Motel? Was it fun? How much was spectator Admission? As a spectator would there be a lot to see or are you blocked off from seeing anything good like booths and competitors cars?

yeah it is a 13 hour non stop drive with good traffic. In 2001 it was cool but I am not sure that spectators were aloowed in the vehicle area...

Wow! ShockingCanada do you have a hybrid with a bathroom or something to go 13 hours straight? LOL Just Kidding! Thanks for the exact driving time it helps.

Bret B enjoy the drive if you are going. Good luck too, hope to see you there?

Now the only big question I had was how easy is it to find a hotel/motel? I'm under the impression it's going to be anywhere between $40 to $120 per night. Personally I don't care how much it cost as long as I go to the finals. I went to a website of Nashville hotels and tried to make reservations and they said they were booked for that weekend. I don't trust travel websites anyway.
