DD Subs

Here's a pretty simple question actually but I thought I would ask it anhow...

Are DD subs actually nice subs to listen to? I mean, how do the perfom under normal listening duty for SQ? I suppose it would be extreme to expect the BEST SQ however given their popularity etc, there must be people that use them outside of the SPL competition circuit that like their sound?

Thanks

Depends on which model you get... the 'regular' subs such as the 35's and 95's are known for having a dry sound with some mechanical noise.

The 9100's are their SQ series so I'm sure they'd sound very good.
