Just dropping a line to see how many people are running DD subs and what kind of setups they have.

If I'm correct that means you are feeding 2000W to it? What type of enclosure are you running? I'm running a 9515 (f i believe, not sure and not sure how to tell) powered by a Hifonics BXi 2006D in a 4.25 cu ft ported box.

wow thats a huge box. my dd's are in a 1 cu foot per sub box. but it doesnt really matter. box size is totally independent of the driver.

I followed the enclosure recommendations on the DD site. What size DD are you running? How does it hit in a smaller enclosure. I am actually considering downsizing my driver if I can't make it sound good in a smaller enclosure.

lol hits good. i use 10 in the small box to compete with. i ran 3 9512's this summer for daily and they were in a box that was something like 3.5 cubes commong chamber box, so about 1.2 cubes per 12. slammed fairly well. 151.5 daily beating.

And I was considering getting a different sub... Good to know that they pound, even in a seemingly tiny box (compared to dd's enclosure stats on their site). Thanks Prolifik!

3 9512's? Wow. Must have been crazy. How much power were you running to those?

I ran a pair of 9912's in the past in a 3.5 common box but my other subs hit alot harder. I think the tuning is more key to the music u listen to so if u have a hatch back your in luck and if u have a trunk i would say good luck
