Red face Decent subs/good amp--- good subs/decent amp

So I was just wondering which combo is better. I wanna go for a sealed box so just wondering which would work out better. My installer recommendes three 10" jl subs and a jl amp. I want to spend around a thousand.
thanks

LMAO danm I left alot of stuff out eh. Well first things first its an altima se-r 2005. Yes I would like very much base but dont it to greatly overpower my sound quality. The guy building it is a shop in brampton right on steeles ave west. I keep looking at the shop name but forget it all the time. And I just heard sealed over ported and I really liked what I heared. I listen to house music so I want the base to be tight not like what the ported boxes produce.
thanks

Am not a 100 percent but the speakers were 10" w3v3 and the amp was well not sure it was long and output was around 1000 w.

I would head into two 12's and the proper box in this situation. 3 is a odd load for most amps to drive. It is also a further issue on the complexity of the box and chances are it will be a little larger than the dual 12" box. I will see what I can come up with for you around the same price range and then see if we can entice Jalat into building a custom box for you.

The only way for you to properly hear it is in your car, not in the huge open expanse of a store. If you want things done "PRO", then take the advice of people who do this for a living as well. After almost 20 years of hands on car audio sales and installation, I am quite sure that I know what I am recommending something to you, it is going to be a highly predictable outcome. It is all about the box, screw up on it and the best subs in the world are absolutely no good at all. This is why you need a proper and custom box built and why you should give Jalat a PM about having one built.

thanks for the advice and I went today and talked to the guy some more. He said for 1900 he gets me three 10" w3s' and an jl hd 600/4 amp and pretty much all the installs and wiring so all together. Unfortunatly my budget is around $1000-1200. He then gave me another offer for 1400. This one include 3 w1s' and a 500/1 amp. I would like the w3 but way too pricey. Tomorrow I am going to get both a sealed and ported box put in to the car to make my choice. But I would still like to hear some better deals if have one.

thanks
