deck angle?

Can a Deck sit verticaly(if thats a word) with out any problems? the only thing i can think of is puting the CD of balance, im not sure if that would happen tho...
what im doing is making a new center consol for my truck, and i want to put my deck(Alpine CDA-7897)in the front of the consol. but the onlyway it will fit is if it sits at a nasty angle(probly about 70-80 deg). so does anyone see any problems in doing this?
Thanks alot guys

read your owners manual.... I think it says at a maximum of 45 degrees.... and it's motor will get worked on, it would sit at a really weird angle when facing out..... hmmmm..... I'd re-think dood....

The optional DVD player that goes into a Honda Ridgeline is installed vertically. I believe it's an Alpine piece. Most likely designed to be installed that way, though. Hell, go for it. Try it out for a while - temporarily. If it breaks ...... oh well.

The worst that can happen is that the disc falls out of the mechanism & jams in your player.
I wouldn't do this without looking into it first.
It may work, put the players' suspension is designed to work with the player level. The player might play fine but it'll probably skip like crazy.
