deck install problem. :(

well as most of you know i bought an 85 chevy 3/5 tonne pick up. well i went to put in the deck to day...

and well was not happy with what i found. i need to cut the cash to install it...

should i do it that way or find some other way to install it? i would like a stealthy install

If theres money behind the factory player then take all that money to the bank.Don't be cutting up money.

Just do it. It isnt like it is a brand new car/truck. But make sure you take you time when you do. Let us know how it goes

In my old 85 chevy truck, i just took a little jigsaw type jobbie, and cut the hole in the dash a little bigger. Deck fit in no problem.. Too bad the truck is back home or i'd show ya some pics.

I also had to cut the dash on my 80' Chev 1/2 ton. I found my deck skipped quite a bit though because there wasn't much holding the deck solid to the dash, my subs didn't help either.
