deck power

Can two channels be combined to run a single item?
I am thinking of powering the Aura Bass Shakers with the deck power.
Will have two bass shakers and power each with the left (front + rear) and right (front + rear)

Right now it takes the Power Acoustic 2x75 amp to run four of them nicely. Tried to use my MTX amp and it wasn't as nice. I seriosly doubt a single channel from the deck would be enough.

Bridgeing HU channels, (Left side front and rear) (right side front and rear)

are you thinking about bridging the rear channels on your hu ? the amp is not designed to do that you will ruin the amp so dont try and seriously most desk power is around 11- 18 watts a channel

what about this for an idea? set of tweets on the front channels and the 2 bass shakers on the rear channels from the HU?

mid range would come from the 4 channel amplifier I have that powers the rear 6x9's and front 3 1/2 speakers

I have another amplifier that powers the bass shakers but I would like to get rid of that and two of the bass shakers.

Now if the HU could power tweeters off of the front channel's and two of the bass shakers off of the rear channels I might do that.

Power your 6x9s off the deck, and put your bass shaker thingers on the recently vacated channels of the 4 channel amp.

I think dogstar needs a demo of the bass shakers to see what they do.

I have tried the bass shakers on the 4 channel amp they didn't play so well. If I can't bridge the channels on the HU for maximum power then I might as well leave everything alone as things can only get worse if I make any changes.

I get mixed reviews on them, 50/50 either for or against so the offer is open to anybody in the area for a demo
