Has anyone heard of this before:
My speaker is coming apart, where the rubber attaches to the metal basket. I don't have a camera to show you what I mean, but basically the front rubber cone is coming apart from the round metal part of the basket.

I guess more importantly, does anyone know something that would re-attach the rubber to the metal?

(Speakers aren't under warranty anymore, but aside from this problem they are still good)

If it is under 3 years old, warranty is your friend. Send a PM to Team Shadow who works in the service dept for MB Quarts distributor in Canada. He will direct you on the best way to get this looked after. By the sounds of it your speaker is long out of warranty, I have not seen a metal basket on a MB Quart speaker in a looooong time.

For a speaker, any brand of speaker to die after 90 days screams abuse.

I figured out what happened to them, was abuse so to speak, put a bead of silicone between the basket and the door, and i think it melted the factory adhesive in the speakers.

My bad, but Automotive Goop from Canadian tire has fixed it very well.

Good stuff that auto goop, strong yet pliable.
