yup brand new.. it just came in from the JL Audio distributer when i got it. From an authorized JL Audio reseller. so warrenty is included.

IMO you did not get ripped off. I bought the e4300 off of eBay brand new for $315CAD after all tax, freight, and duty. I inquired about the e1400D and it was going to cost me about $450 total. So I would have paid $765, which does NOT include warranty, and for all I know the stuff was B stock, stolen, or whatever. That extra you paid is not bad for peace of mind.

BTW, you'll like the e4300, I only had it installed for a few months but was quite happy with the performance. It is underrated by quite a bit....you'll likely see 90W per channel rms to a 4 ohm load at 13V....double the 45W that they claim.

wow, i just got it installed today and i am very impressed with the high and mids and the bass.

i didn't know they almost double their rms rating at 4 ohms.. the e1400D is a powerful amp. i love this setup.
