Digital Designs 2512 Help

Hey guys,

I have a dd2512 sub powered by an eclipse xa1000 amp and want to upgrade my amp, what would be better suited to power my sub a bit better?

Thanks in advance
Devin

What is your coild config- DVC2 or DVC4ohm coils?
Your sub is rated at 750W rms and you currently have 320-480w depending on whether you're running at 4 or 2 ohms.
For not much money, Audioque builds a helluva product and they're great about shipping up to Canada using USPS to avoid UPS brokerage charges. As well, their remote bass **** (incl w/every amp) has a clipping indicator.
I think I paid $299 after amp, shipping & GST for my AQ-1200 that would rock your 2512.
That being said, you know it takes 10x the power to sound twice as loud, right? If you gave your sub a good dose of RMS power it would roughly double your RMS power, but would occur as only about 3dB louder. Just food for thought.
