SUre how many input and outputs do you need?

 

actually maybe you can advise me on the # of outputs i need. essentially i need to just run my 2 gauge wire into it (both a power and ground) and then make the wire a smaller gauge so i can actually screw it into my amp (as 2 gauge is a very tight fit)...so will i need two blocks (one for power and one for ground) or can one block with 2 inputs do this for me??

There is a block system that has both but more expensive. Going with a fused distro and a ground distro will work. How many amps do you have and what the the gauge or wire the amps accept? Or do you amps have hold down screws vs. connection blocks?

 

its only the one amp and it has the hold-down screws method of securing the wire. 4 gauge is the largest that will be able to be securely tied down ... I guess 8 gauge output would work also though (not sure how much it matters for a small length of wire?)

If you only have one amp why don't you just use an inline fuse holder that will accept 0-4 gauge for the positive side and then ground directly to the body?

Thats the easiest way.

 

is that the same kind of fuse holder as you put in the power wire near the battery of the car?
