Well "Kool" to follow your brand of logic, your panties are twisted for no reasons but your own. If you check my first response to you then I in fact said you gave a "nice answer". I then continued on with an opinion on Canton speakers that one may or may not agree with but that is not the issue.
Or did YOU maybe read into my response something that the words simply did not say? Where was the negative comment you mention?
As for all the personal putdowns - man, you don't know me, you don't know who I am. Ask those that do if you want an opinion on who I am. The fact that I know a lot on car audio means I run into punks like you all the time trying to prove something. I cannot help that you are intimidated by the things I say. Other's weren't - so now who has the problem
Maybe step up and listen - I guarantee you'll learn something.
I really have to ask why the west coast thing has to be brought up? Who is in this "clique"? By my count there are maybe half a dozen people from the Vancouver area that I even know on here. Or are you one of those self-absorbed southern Ontario assclowns who groups everything west of Thunder Bay as "the West"?
Now - if anyone has an opinion on DLS this thread can continue. Otherwise you all can thank Mr Kool for shutting it down...

On a serious note, I look to these veterans as a source for information in case I need a second opinion or to be audially abused, knowing they have been in the game almost before I was a twinkling in dad's beer bottle (won't go there).
That being said, let's put this into perspective:
Canton Pullman 2.16 2 way set: About $350
Focal Utopia 2 way set: $800-1200
DLS Ultimate Iridium 2 way set: $900US MSRP
Let's say they sound the same, or had negligable difference in sound that it didn't matter. What would make you spend more money on the other two?

I don't know what difference it would make but my RS 3.22 set retailed for about $1200Can - but it's a 3way set. Pricing isn't always a good indicator of quality though. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

I was just trying to make a helpful comment. I said which component set is comparable in terms of ranking in the lineup then said they likely don't sound alike though. Mr. Dukk, who says he doesn't care, then proceeds to read into my response and assume I am making a completely unintelligent remark. I don't see why I deserved that at all.
And for the record, I am not trying to prove myself. I do not want to make enemies, but I can not stand arrogant remarks that are completely unecessary and meant to be hurtful in nature.
