I am wondering how many of you guys actually use rear speakers?

 

i use them. i still have a prominent front sound stage, but i like the sound of the music enveloping you.

you certainly don't need them, but its all personal preference. there is no rule saying you should or shouldnt have them. i like them.

 

its nice to have a full sound.

I run front speakers only, and I don't feel the need to ever go back.

 

Front only, no need for rears with adequate front stage

 

I don;t mind the presence of rears but I run front end only.

 

Right now I don't ... I feel the sub offers enough in addition to what I'm hearing upfront and quite honestly, don't notice the difference.
Maybe if I turn the sub down, install $100+ 6x9's in the back and create the correct staging in my vehicle, I'll better appreciate the need for them.

So until I'm rich or have a need for them, I'm doing without.

 

Running front speakers only is going to save me some cash that's for sure.
