Is it really worth all the money that might be possibly needed?

Make friends with someone who can weld.

My welding skills are crap so I'm no good. Your best and cheapest bet would be a junkyard. Cheaper, you should be able to find a rear quarter panel that is in decent enough shape. Or if you feel brave, try to fab your own peice.

if you just want to buy the rear 1/4 pannel look up body shop supply stores - or call TGF they are in pickering. i dont know of any thing in oshawa but im sure there is a shop out there.

as for install thats prolly gonna get $$$ ... best bet would be to let the body shop supply and install it....

took a quick look i think its $158.93 for the panel

I know a shop that will do a nice body/paint job for probably a fair bit under 1000 on your entire car....

I dunno if thats what you were expecting, though
