Well I posted on here quite some time ago about the pannels I started and thought maybe a couple guys would like to see them. They are no where near finished, but I wanted these in before winter so I can enjoy them and spend alot of time tweaking before next spring/summer when the weather warms up and I look into a new finish. So for everyone out there cringing when they see gloss paint on a doorpannel... don't worry it's more then likely not going to stay that way, I just happened to have a few cans of paint kicking around and thought why not

Oh it's a daily driver! I'm placing bets how long before a major chip/scratch sets in heh

It's way to shiney for my liking, but it will do for the time being

Too shiney and monochromatic unless it's for show only (which apparantly it is not).

How'd ya get the shape at the top of the door?

Looks good enough to wrap in a nice vinyl....just be sure to use Helmaprene adhesive.

I'm not sure what you mean about the shape at the top of the door? Do you mean the tweeter pods?

And about the vinyl, it wouldn't be a problem at all. I considered painting these from the begining so they have been sanded nearly to the point of being ready for paint... pretty damn smooth with only a few rough spots left. But I changed my mind awhile ago and want vinyl, but by then most of the sanding was done. So next year I'll be looking very closly into vinyl and maybe a few pieces to break the look up a bit.
