k i took my system out of my car and put the stock one back in it. i went to hook the driver side's front speaker up and no sound came out of? so i went and hooked up the passenger's side speaker and it worked. so i'm complty baffled, harness to the back of the deck is all ok. i'm wondering if the wire's got cut some how, or lost thier outter shell in a certain spot? is thier any thing else i could do to get it to work? i'm not really wanting to have to run new wire from the deck to the speaker.

thx for the help.

chuckster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check over all the wiring, make sure everything is done up right, 99% of the time, its bad wiring job, do you have an amp running to those speakers?

i had an amp running to them, but i disconected it and now they are just running off the deck, i got the other side to work. well anyway's i'm goign to buy some speaker wire and just run it from the deck to the speaker, i don't have time to fool around with this. or i could buy one of adaptor's? the one where you can hook the amp right to the stock deck, do they make such a thing?
