Red face

Well about a week ago I was driving along and suddenly the music stops.I have checked the amps wiring and everything is fine and the amp turns on with no problem. I then checked the crossover connections to the components and they are also fine.I have wired and rewired everything and checked over everything and it all seems to check out, but still no sound!..It seems like the speakers arent getting any signal at all since there is no noise whatsover..no static..no nothing. Anyone know what the possible problem could be??..I just have a set of components that are amped..oh and I have also switched amps but I still have the same prob!!

i would try to isolate everything. Try a different source unit first. Then try one speaker at a time. Are you talking about subs or mids/highs ?

Not sure if this would work.. but try using any music source (portable cd player/tape player) and connect it to the input on your amp

Yeah it can be fixed easily. Just open it and solder it properly if they are loose. But what exactly do you mean by crapped out ?
