Are dual voice coils better?

I got a set of rockford fosgate p2 dvc 10"s just wondering if theres an advantage to this over the reg p2 10's

Only advantage that i know of is wiring configurations

they will be pretty similar other than dual coils give you more options for the amp you use with it.

yes its better. tripple coils are even better.

the more coil the more power it can take
