I have the opportunity to get two 12" Eclipse 8812s...I know they are pretty decent....but how decent? I'll be pushing 450-500rms to each...
By the way, I cant seem to find the webpage....does anyone know what it is?

^^^^^^^^You have the 6122's not 8122's I know your car audio more then you lol.. We have his 6122's running off of a Visonik V900XD Amp in 4 ohm so about 750rms so each sub is seeing anywhere from 350-375rms and the subs are rated for 200-250rms and no problems at all, we beat on them for about 4 hours from London to Toronto and back and the subs didn't get any warmer then if they where fed there nominal power rating. I have myself have the 88120.4 which is being used as home theatre power sub it's only seeing 60 watts box is tuned to about 24-25hz and is pretty loud considering the lack of power it's getting, but will benefit greatly with a new bigger amp of course. So as for my experience with Eclipse although limited appears to be a damn good product.

Thanks guys, I have never heard anything bad about them before. I just have one more question, the guy said he has been using them for 2-3 years....do you still think they are as good?
PS....350$ for the pair...

A used sub is the most beat to death part of an audio system, they are the most abused. If your asking me if I would take in on trade a 3 year old sub and with a clear conscience sell it to you, not a chance..... Ensure that the work properly first, meaning listen to them at multiple volume levels with different types of music.
