I know everyone reaction to Eclipse decks, just curious on there amps/ component speakers... how would you rate them compared to JL XR components, and JL Amps to Eclipse amps?

Thanks

I've heard nothing but good reviews regarding their amps. I was considering the Eclipse 1000x2rms amp for my next project and wouldn't hesitate if I found one again.

I have used quite a bit of eclipse equipment over the years(4 decks, 2 amps, 1 eq, set of coaxes, and a sub) and I think they make very nice stuff all the way around.

I do prefer the JL XRs to the Eclipse components though. I LOVED their amps.

IMO, if somebody wanted to do a ONE brand system, Eclipse is the way to go.

I would not hesitate if the amps and aluminum subs are to be used. The components are great, not quite up to MB Quart which I stock both of, but good nonetheless. The basic co-ax speakers are kick a$$. They are a really good sounding speaker. The basic subs I have not had much work with, they are good build quality but I have not found the magic box for them yet, when I do I bet we'll sell more of them. The cd players speak for themself.

I would say all eclipse stuff is very nice, only thing I might not grab is there components. Not saying there bad speakers, but you can get better sounding ones for less. There co-axials are VERY nice sounding . There subs are definitely awesome and can hang with the best. I would say go for it, do a full eclipse system.
