eclipse cd 7000
if anyone has this deck can u post how it is looking to get one, how are the features on it
|
i have one and its a great cd player, very versatile crossover with time correction, killer display
|
how is the knob
and how is the area shot gps |
I have it as well, it is kick arse. I have not played with the area shot function but it sure looks neat on demo mode.
|
The knob operates just like an ipod...people love it!

Eclipse CD7000 is awsome, full colour screen area shot nav-gps, plan your trip follow the satelite guidance, you can hook up two peripheral devices and it has a aux-input built in, and u can add a second as one peripheral device. the sound quality is amaizing like every other eclipse deck, in advanced mode it has an 11 band parametric EQ and upto 24db slope on its x-over, sadly only 5volt pre-outs unlike the CD5000's 8volt pre outs.
oh yeah and for some GAWD-AWWWWWFUL reason.... someone decided the cd7000 should havea detach face... but it's still smokn hot. |
what is the retail in canada for these things
and how would u compare it to premier 960mp or what other alpine compares to the 960mp |
bump
I'm kinda interested in how well the gps area shot works on this deck, and how much the gps addon costs roughly.
|
its included, its free!
How it works, you log on to mapquest.com - you want to travel from kamloops to calgary - you load the diections on to the memory stick or a cd - load it on into the deck - and it directs you on how to get there |
I sell both Pioneer and Eclipse. In my opinion the Eclipse will lay the smack down to the Pioneer for tonal response. CDN retail on the CD7000 is $899.99 and the GPS105 area shot unit (different than what James mentioned) retails for $279.99. Interested in a deal, drop me a PM for CCA member pricing.
