Wow this is an interesting thread.
And I agree with bart pyle.
There was a mistake by someone and the car was checked. That shouldnt mean who bought TFOne subs should get checked.
The judges do have a right to check the cars but it would be a waste of time unless there is a high suspision someone is lying about their stuff. I think this one should just be wrapped up and ignored now that its all straightened out.
Also wouldnt a judge helping a friend be BETTER? Then worse? Now I am not saying in this case it would be but for someone just starting out. They can more or less say "No you can not dfo this and this is why...." and so on. Not so much as help but give pointers and keep them on track and keep them in the legal zone.

Why is inspecting a car (or asking the questions) such an issue all of a sudden? I've never been to World Finals ... but wouldn't they do the exact same thing there?
What are you running ... prove it.
I've regularly seen judges (not just Don) ask to see the trunk/hatch of a competitors ride, whether its a quick check of the equipment or actually pulling out the old measuring tape. So who the hell cares.

RUMORS happen, SPL and SQ competitors gossip like little girls... nothing as much fun as some good dirt!
So what can be done? nothing really because the rumor mill WILL happen again, is anyone cheating (not this time) is anyone helping someone cheat (nope) but everyone loves a good rumor. I hope no damage that was done from a false rumor ... this is why people quit competing, they get their feelings hurt or their reputation is damaged unfairly (some will be damaged fairly though)
Just try to be successful honestly and be respectful and never be afraid of "the tear-down" wear it as a badge of honor because it means "you are too loud"

Ya know something, first off Don doesn't help me. If I have a question pertaining to the rules yes I will call him and ask his opinion on the matter. That is what a judge is supposed to be there for. As for who said this to Don? If it was Ed would anyone be surprised? No disrepect to you Eddy but with your track record, if the shoe fits???lol. We all need to chill. Everything was explained so let sleeping dogs lie guys. If Ed wants to rip all the TF One users cars apart then as a judge I guess he has the right to do so. This is only gonna get worse. If this is how its gonna be and I have to put my car back together at every show then **** dbdrag and I a mean that(no disrespect to you Deezy or Ed). I'm not going to go thru this bullshit at every show just cause people have vandettas against others. That is childish bullshit and it's straight up highschool behaviour. That's all for now folks.
