Energy Car Audio

So the store I work at is going to start carrying Energy car audio speakers and subs. From what I've been told, their home audio stuff is really good, but a couple of other opinions would be good if anybody knows anything about them or has had any experience with them.

I've always felt the home gear from Energy was quite good. I didn't even know they started making car audio.

From what understand, they are not the same company as Energy home speakers who is now owned by Klipsch. This is 2nd hand information though.

I didn't know that they started making them either until I saw the sheet on them. From what the spec sheet I saw said, the 10" runs at 200W RMS, the 12" at 250", the speakers anywhere from 45-75W RMS. I can't remember the sensitivity or the freq range, but they sound not bad from the spec sheet.

Futureshop RULES!!

I emailed Energy regarding thiele/small parameters.
The response I received:

I have no information that Energy manufacturers car audio speakers.

So I'm thinking it is a totally seperate company.
I'm looking for thiele/small parameters for them still.

My head installer just got back from a vendor fair in Van. and saw the Energy speakers. They are made by the same company as the HT stuff, and apparently the stuff is awesome.

The energy car audio line will only be carried by futureshop. The corp. office had alot of input into the line. Similar to there current MTX sub line up.
