Cool

I haven't heard them but Exile is suppose to be this "exclusive" brand that Phoenix Gold has the rights to, so whether its good or not, I have no idea.

I'm running an Exile amp ON my components right now, no problems ...
And I picked up some Exile subwoofers just for the sake of hearing them (haven't done that yet) but they LOOK nice ...
But components? I haven't even seen them in the line-up to be honest with you.

Keep us posted.

Any time I have heard the Hex drivers I have liked the sound.

Not really. A bunch of guys jumped ship from PG and started Exile. That and the Canadian distributor, Trends Electronics, used to be the distributor for PG for years.

My only issue I've had with Exile amps is overheating.

They sound nice and perform well but they really should have considered using fans or fins to cool the poor bastards down.

Agreed. My little neon-green unit ran very hot after a while ... Never any issues, but hot.

In other news, I think Exile just re-did their site (or at least now they HAVE one!)

speakers are ok but not great, subs very nice, amps are old school pg. ms boards,, very relaible and tons of power, Dukk is right when pg sold the marketing rights to audio ***** ltd they didnt buy the engineers tho, so the boys that were now left without a company or job, started there own company with old pg plans and voila.. exile....i have the diamonds hex 6.0 with 4s and they are probalby one of the nicest sounding speakers to cross my test bench every.. liked them even better than the mb quart qsd 216...
