No . lol... of course.
What city are you in?
Google the DB Drag & other event schedules, lots of people show and you get to see some crazy daily setups. A lot of southern-Ontarioans bang, all the way from Lake Eerie to Barrie and they'll drive 1000 km just to compete.
Shows cost a lot, more so than years before and the turn out isn't *always* that great. If you want a simple meet without a TL etc than wait for the summer and check out your local car-shows in your grocers parking lots, we have one in Stoney Creek (Hamilton-ish) every Thursday night on the warm days, and like 200 people show every time. You might want to find a show that's more ricer-accepting (Kitchener-GTA-Toronto etc) because these old guys with rusty 56 Belairs might just be pissed off at the bass. Even my tiny home town of Smithville (it got a beer store around 2007 lol) has shows in the summer with a nice turn out of 20-50.
I'm pretty sure Mississauga has a big scene, and student-cities like Waterloo/Kitchener have got to have shows all of the time. In the 'Loo I can't drive down a main street without hearing bass from a beamer.

Keep one eye on the DbDrag page and the other one on the Eastern Canada section of this forum. There is some duplication but the smaller shows and "test and tune" type meetings will be in the EC section.....

Posted non-competition meetings aren't for club members or anything like that, otherwise why openly post them? You might as well google things like "York car show 2011" and "site:Canadiancaraudio York, Ontario" (to see who else is from York) because it's not often that you'll see non-competition meetings because we all live pretty far from eachother. Someone might shoot you a PM. Bring a higher confidence level lol. You have mobile audio, be one with mobile audio, you *ARE* mobile audio!
What are you running for bass?
