Ok, so my 10" 6000's are hittin 139.8. I really want to get louder. I could always try building another box since the one i have is tuned to 32hz which from what iv been told is wrong. so here are a few questions i have.
1. With the current gear i have amp=bazooka el1500 500x1, what can i do to get louder?

2. If i was to build a new box, what size and port length would u recommend for these subs to get the best SPL out of them with that amp?

3. Later on down the road when i buy some better subs what should I look for to tell me wether or not they would be good in SPL comps or not?

4. Last but not least, how would u compare two Alpine type-E's in a ported box on my bazooka amp as opposed to my current setup? I'v had good luck so far on ebay so im thinkin about dealing with it again.

Thanks for all the tips and advice guys. Basically i want something that i can use to get over 142.db

ok...my vehicle is a 96 hyundai elantra sedan. Im am not worried at all about trunk space and could care less about what room i have left in there. Right now my box is slot ported tuned to 32hz with the port at the left side of the box not the center. I believe this box is close to the recommended specs at 2.5^3.
