Fi BL?

i bought this sub off a dood, he said it was a FI BL, i pulled it apart today for the recone, and stamped on the motor is, "QD7" 15", so obvioussly its from a 15" sub, but what is QD7?, or is that just a number for the motor?

I'm just laughing at your description and the story, not YOU lmao

Never owned the BL's but there's a lot of members around here that have or currently do, hope they can help you out.

Most high end subs can be reconed, sometimes folks want a bigger or smaller woofer so they change the basket and recone to the wanted size. The PSi recone should be the give away!! just call them and get another re-cone.

Doesn't make much sense....

I think he said that the QD7 was stamped on the motor not on the recone. It could be a series of motor that was made and that number corresponds to a gap diameter code, coil length or something like that.

To me it looks like something that PSI had and it also looks like a an old Shocker motor. But I haven't been around in quite a few years so maybe things all look the same to me.
