Here is one pro who runs a very similar shops to Defro's.....give me 6 days and you will have a half done car. Give me two weeks and chances are it would be at about the same finishing stage. I am a owner, salesperson and installer. I am clearing a vehicle from my bay that has been here for a month, next project has been here for 3 weeks and has another 3 to go. If you want to throw together a hatchet job in 6 days, take Defro up on his offer, put up or shut up.

I've been watching this and not saying anything but I have to comment. There's a lot of low-tolerance people here..
I think that some of the problem here is the post says it's a finshed car when the pictures show it is not. Maybe it's my fault for making a joke about the labour/time thing based on a different post. Sorry about that - I think Dave got that I was joking. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
Personally - I'm pretty average speed wise with custom work. I take forever on my own car but that is a combination of overthinking and little spare time.
A good friend of mine though is stupid fast with custom work - and contrary to what everyone seems to be thinking - it's excellent work done fast. He can kung-fu a full custom car better than anyone I know.
Yet another guy I know can have all the time in the world and it will still be crooked, or fit poorly, or messed in some other way.
So speed and skill are mutually exclusive.
I think it's great that Dave puts up pictures. Yeah a lot of people will praise it and a few will hate on it but it's good he puts them up.

Also from my observations Defro is a salesguy but everyone on this board assumes he has done some work on this car. 8 hours a day on the salesfloor in a extremely busy shop tell me he didnt do much.
