First Car - Need Help Picking Deck and Speakers
Hey There!
This is my first post on this website so I first just want to say hi!
I just bought my own first car and am looking to put in new speakers and a deck. I had a whole system and deck in my last car and I'm not looking to put in an amp or a sub. I'm just looking for something that will sound awesome and pound nicely! As for the deck I'm looking for something that looks amazing and possibly has bluetooth. I bought a '98 civic coupe if that helps.
I was looking into decks and liked this one. http://www.panasonic.ca/english/car/caraudio/players/CQC700.asp
Any opinions and suggestions on decks and speakers would be awesome!
Thanks!

I'm not a big fan of Panasonic, I would be looking at the Eclipse CD3200, sounds amazing has built in blue tooth, OEL display, triple 5 volt pre outs, usb connection and it's not very expensive at all. You can check it out at ECLIPSE Car Navigation and Audio Systems | Fujitsu Ten

two for the Eclipse! Panasonic I have not seen nothing good from them for years(Alma Gates PPI years).Panasonics modo "look good and no one cares on sound".As for the car it won`t pound all that well but you will get some midbass from the trunk area only with out a good amount of work to other speaker locations. If your looking for stock size.My self I would go with some nice Focal,Morel or along the lines but may be out of your range. If you give us more of a price range we can help better

Thanks so much for the replies thus far! In terms of speakers I am not looking for anything amazing. I was wondering the JBL GTO627 and JBL GTO927 for front and rear. They seem good and priced well. Furthermore, in terms of a deck I am looking for something with the ability to use my bluetooth capable phone and ipod. But for me I really want something that looks good but will last at least two years.
As for the price. For speakers and a deck about $200 each.
Suggestions would be great!
Thanks

on the eclipse site they have a list of phones. They can be had for about $200 or less if you search. Is a hard to beat deck with killer clean looks and looks way better in the dark then in the day(not like it lacks anything realy).I`m sure you would be happy with them JBL`s as well they are not that bad of a speaker that for sure.No GTI series but real good.As for the phone you maybe left with one or none decks as all phones are not supported(phones change to much so they pick high end and most popular phones to add)the odd time if the phone is not supported but a model close to it is they still work just not 100% tested at the manufacture
