Is This Fixable?

Hi, so i have this one Rockford Fosgate Punch XLC 8" and was wondering if this is fixable, someone kicked it and now the cone has a hole in it, here is a pic

b/c it was free, i don't really care how well it sounds after, but would using duct tape work? my dad threw it out there and now I'm kinda curious

duct tape will fold on itself and stick to itself, so use it on both sides so it doesn't stick when its bumpin

ok, ill give it a shot, umm should i just do the spot thats missing the surround ring, or should i do the whole outer ring?
