who makes the best flat subs

i personally like the pioneer flat subs.
smartass likes the clarion flat subs.
i have herd the blaupunkt flat subs, both model's last week and they hit hard too.
its all a matter of personal prefrence really.

Pioneer makes a nice shallow mount.

 

At the moment Arc makes the best flat cone drivers hands down. If you meant to say "best shallow mount subs" that would be something different.

 

Whoops, my post referred to a shallowmount, my bad. If the OP wants to know of a good flat cone, Arc is numero uno.
Edit: the Pioneer shallowmount are flat cones too, so I guess I was kinda right :P

 

I heard DD was comming out with a 3kw sub that is only 4.25" deep ?

Does anyone know when JL will be comming out with the shallow mounts they were showing of at the last CES show ? They looked pretty nice to me.....

 

If that were true, that would be the ultimate sub...

 

I haven't heard them yet, but Kenwood just released a new Excelon 10" shallow mount sub....might be worth a look....
