Where in the GTA can I get a real Fluke multimeter for cheap, brand new. Is there any other brands I should look into that compares to the Fluke's ???????

cheap and fluke dont go in the same sentence together. Unless you consider $200-300 cheap.

 

If its for car audio you really don't need to spend a whole wack of cash for a DMM. Just go to Radio Shack and get whatever one fits your pocketbook.

No Im doing electrical engineering in university and will be needing it in some of my classes. I wanted to be precise but I dont wanna spend 200-300 dollars for one. Is there any substitute that is as goos as the fluke ??

Check Ebay you can get some for a pretty good price there

 

I got an industrial 600V digital voltmeter, with a clamp amp meter from a company called Kyoritsu. Its been pretty well bomb proof for the last six years. Much cheaper than Fluke. I'm sure its a knock off cause they look pretty much the same. I think it was about $150-175 when I got it.
