a few days agao i wen tto fm audio video in brantford ont. to pick up a cap they had a good deal on. as i was searching for a coupple products they made me feel as though they sencerly wanted to help me and not just another customer. after i bought a cap i opened it up and although the instructons said it had a resister with it, it did not. when i went in to ask about it, the way they treated me completely changed. i was dealing with the same people and they acted as iv i didnt exist at all. it took me forever to get an anwser out of them, which was basicaly a shrug and they suggested that i pay their installer 10$ for somthing that i had already paied for. i was incredibly pissed off but i wanted to get it done with so i paied the guy. he ended up frying my main power fuse in the process. after all that they had the nerve to asked me if i wanted to pay another 5$ to enter their little fun day event composed of shooting paintballs at subs. i have never had a worse customer support experience in my life and i would rate their car audio department a 1 out of 10. i wont be going back there.

If you can get a resistor from radio shack it will work. All you need is the correct resistor (Should say in manual what one!)

btw, i was the guy emailing you abuot getting the amp tested. i did not want to pay 25.00 lol so i just hooked it up in a friends car and it works good!

new update. after no more than 30 min of light use the cap has died on me, will not turn on. put simply, their lucky they closed for the night already.

so your cap doesn't work? Wow, this is not the first time I have heard bad products from FM, however I have heard quite a few good ones as well! Personally, I would go to a more independant store!
